1. Plug the appliance into the mains.
2. Pour water into the reservoir at the back of the appliance. Be careful not to fill beyond
the maximum fill line 'MAX'.
TIP: For best results use spring or filtered water.
3. Fill the brewing basket with the tea of your choice. Either loose tea or tea bags may be used.
TIP: If using loose tea, the recommended amount is 3 grams for a 200 ml cup (about 2 teaspoons), and 4
grams for a 300 ml cup (about 3 teaspoons). These suggested amounts may be adjusted according to
personal taste.
4. Put the lid on the brewing basket.
5. Open the front compartment and put the brewing basket in place.
6. Close the front compartment ensuring the lid is completely lowered (a "click" sound will be heard).
7. Place a cup on the cup stand, which may be adjusted according to the size of cup used.
8.
Press one of the buttons according to the required beverage quantity:
for approximately 180 ml of tea
for approximately 250 ml of tea
The blue light indicates that the water is heating. When the water is hot (after 40 seconds), this light
turns red. The tea is automatically poured into your cup.
NB: It is possible to stop the tea being poured at any time by pressing on either button. Please note that
the appliance will not stop dispensing immediately as any tea contained in the brewing basket must
finish pouring first.
9. Your beverage is ready once the appliance has totally finished dispensing. The temperature of your tea
will be +/- 75°C. This is the ideal temperature for most teas including white tea, green tea, black tea and
flavoured tea.
NB: You can make several cycles of tea with the same tea leaves but the flavour of your
drink will be weaker after the 3rd cycle.
10.
After you have enjoyed your beverage, remove the tea bag or tea leaves from the brewing basket then
rinse the basket in warm water and wipe over to avoid build-up of limescale on the filter.
