3.1 OPERATION CONTROLS.
The equiment can be started up once the electrical supply installation has been carried out. This section
describes the control and regulation system of the GALA 2000 CEL G.E. equipment.

Welding process sector: ELECTRODE MODE.
In this work mode the dynamic arcing aid and arc force functions will be adapted for
use in common coated electrode welding.
Welding process sector: CELLULOSE ELECTRODE MODE.
In this work mode the dynamic arcing aid and arc force functions will be adapted for
use in CELLULOSE ELECTRODE welding.
Welding process selector: TIG LIFT ARC MODE.

This permits gentle touch arcing, establishing low currents when the tungsten electrode
touches the part, thus avoiding electrode and part contamination.

This permit welding via TIG process with pulsed arc. The pulse frequency will be
controlled with potentiometer F.
