Installing the tensioning system

1.
Open the door panel until the entire stand-
ard opening is free.

Fully unwind the elastic cord from the alu-
minium disk and then rewrap the cord
once around the aluminium disk again. The
co rd m u st b e ro l le d u p i n t h e
opposite direction of the shutter, ensuring
that the cord pulls in an upward direction.
Make sure that the fixing eyelet at the
end of the cord does not buckle, as
this can cause the eyelet to break!

Fix the bracket (with the return pulley) into
the console using four M8 bolts.

Run the elastic cord behind the return pul-
ley and pull it down around the bottom re-
turn pulley.

Pull the elastic cord to the extent that the
end of it can reach the fastening point on
the bottom beam without applying any ten-
sion.
6.
Fasten the eyelet of the elastic cord on to
the wall side of the end unit using a small
M8 bolt + clasp + self-locking nut. Note!
The eyelet of the elastic cord must still be
able to rotate freely. Repeat this on the
other side.
Hook the hoods onto the wall guide and
secure them with a locking screw at ap-
proximately 400 mm above the floor.

Fix the safety covers using 2 X 2 M8 bolts.
