Information on the Laminating Process
Do not insert an empty laminating pouch in the infeed (rear) of the laminator.
Do not insert a laminating pouch when rolled up into the infeed (rear) of the laminator.
Do not insert a laminating pouch to one side of the infeed (rear) of the laminator.
Always insert the laminating pouch with the closed side first, centred and straight into the infeed (rear)
of the laminator, which is ready to operate.
Do not pull the laminating pouch out of the output side (front) during laminating.
Please remember that hot laminated materials are permanently bonded to the laminating
pouch and cannot be separated from the foil again without possible damage.

Operating the Laminator

The following section describes how to complete hot lamination and cold lamination.
If the laminator is not used for a period of 30 minutes, the laminator enters Standby mode.
Press the "Operating mode" button to make the device operational.

Press the "Operating mode" button several times, if necessary, until the required type of
lamination is selected.
Hot laminating: The options "125Mic" and "75Mic/80Mic" are available.
Cold laminating: On selecting the "Cold" option, cold lamination is activated.
Î One of the status LEDs (125Mic || 75Mic/80Mic) flashes GREEN and the warm-up phase
begins or the status LED (Cold) lights up GREEN continuously and the laminator is ready
to operate.
Hot laminating: After the warm-up phase has ended, a status LED lights up GREEN continu-
ously and the laminator is ready to operate.
Cold laminating: When the laminator was previously used in "Hot laminating" mode, the
laminator must be allowed to cool down for approx. 30 minutes before it is ready to operate.
Caution!
Risk of burns through hot machine surface!
The laminator heats up during hot lamination. Do not touch the device surface during
operation.

Place the material to be laminated inside the laminating pouch. For the best results, leave a
space of 3 mm to 5 mm at the margin on all sides.

Insert the laminating pouch in the infeed via the infeed tray of the laminator when ready to
operate.
