Watch for any vibration or wobbling that could indicate poor installation or a poorly balanced Base.
Make sure the Base is not contacting the workpiece before the switch is turned on.
Wait until the Sheet Sander attains full speed before sanding.
Keep at least 200mm (8") away from the tool at all time.
Always switch off and wait for the Sheet Sander to come to a complete stop before any adjustments.
Never stick your finger into the Dust Outlet. Outlet may jam when sanding damp wood. Clean out regularly.
When leaving the Sheet Sander, switch off and set it with the front base up. Wait for a complete run-down
before putting the tool down.
Use suitable sized sandpaper sheets for this Sheet Sander.
Some materials contain chemicals which may be toxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhalation and skin
contact.
In some situations, waste material may be projected at speed from the sanding tool. It is the user's
responsibility to ensure that other people in the work area are protected from the possibility of projected
waste.
Do not allow dust or swarf to build up.
Sawdust is a fire hazard, and some metal swarf is explosive Be especially careful when cutting wood and
metal. Sparks from metal cutting are a common cause of wood dust fires. Where possible, use a dust
extraction system to ensure a safer working environment.
