• Connect the device to a duly installed 230 V~, 50 protec-
tive contact socket.
Use
Switch the appliance on by pushing the left hand switch on
the handle upwards.
Select an air stream level on the handle (left hand switch):
Position 0:
off
Position I:
gentle stream of air
Position II:
strong stream of air
Setting the Temperature level (right hand switch):
Position :
low temperature
Position Eco: Environmentally friendly energy saving set-
ting, medium temperature for gentle drying
and shaping.
Position :
high temperature for rapid drying.
COOL SHOT (Cold Air)
:
With this switch you can stop the heating
process.
Hold the button down in this position according to the de-
sired interval length. When the button is released it returned
automatically to the initial position.
Maintenance and care
WARNING:
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socked.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water
for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric
shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additivesl.
Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer
regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result
of heat accumulation.
• Turn the air intake grille anti-clockwise and remove it.
• Remove any dirt that is present.
• If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
Ionizing function –
Reduction of static in hair
The appliance is also fitted with an ionizer which gives off
negative ions with the air flow when switching on. This pro-
cess supports safe, gentle drying of hair and also promotes
a better hair structure, maximizes hair volume, provides for a
silky finish and also reduces static in the hair.
This process is particularly gentle on stressed hair.
Switch-off
Set the left hand switch to "0" after use and disconnect from
the mains.
Storage
• Leave the device to cool before putting it away!
• Hang the device up by the suspension eye.
Mains Cable
• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
• Never tie the cable tightly round the device, as over time
this may result in the cable breaking.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damage.
• Place the grille on the intake in such a way that the two
catches on the grille lie over the notches on the intake.
Turn the grille clockwise to fasten it.

The sound pressure level in the ear of an operator (LpA) was
