Frequency measurement
Make sure that the circuit to be measured does not have a voltage over 50 V before performing
each frequency measurement.
Set the function switch to the "Hz / %" range
Press the "% / Hz" button to switch between Hz and duty cycle measurement.
Insert the black and red test leads into the COM and INPUT inputs.
Apply the test leads to the circuit to be measured and read the value.
Non-contact voltage detector measurement
Set the function switch to the "NCV" range.
Place the front end of the tong head in proximity to the object to be tested.
If the object has AC voltage, the buzzer will sound and the alarm LED will flash.
Auto Power OFF
Automatic deactivation is set on the measuring instrument as standard.
To deactivate the APO function, press the "SEL" button when activating the instrument.
The APO symbol will disappear in the display.
Should the device not be operated after 10 minutes, the buzzer will sound five times. After
45 seconds, the buzzer will sound again and the test instrument will switch off.
True RMS
When using the True RMS function to measure non-sinus wave forms, smaller measurement er-
rors can occur in comparison to traditional measurement procedures.
The True RMS function enables exact measurement of sinus-form and non-sinus form signals.
With AC and AC voltage, zero compensation fluctuations of 1 – 30 digits can occur.
This does not influence the test result.
