6. When the collection bag is full, the suction power will be reduced.
7. When this happens, slide the ON/OFF switch marked 'O' to '—' to turn the garden vac
OFF and disconnect from the mains supply.
8. Wait for the motor to come to a complete standstill, then remove the collection bag.
9. Empty the bag completely.
10. Refit the collection bag.

Cleaning
1. Remove the collection bag.
2. Empty the collection bag.
3. With eye protection on, turn the bag inside out and vigorously shake out dust and
debris.
Attention! Check the bag regularly for damages. If the bag is damaged, order a new one
from your service shop.
Maintenance
Attention! Always remove the plug from the socket before starting any inspection
or maintenance work on the machine.
• Clean the machine regularly and handle it carefully to ensure it functions properly and
has a long service life.
• After finishing working with the machine remove the leaf collection bag, invert it and
thoroughly clean it to prevent mould and unpleasant odours.
• While using the machine keep the ventilation slits clean and free of grass.
• Only use a cloth moistened with hot water and a soft brush to clean the machine.
• Never spray the machine with water or expose it to water.
• Never use cleaning agents or solvents as these can cause irreparable damage to the
machine.
• If the machine's vacuum capacity reduces considerably although the leaf collection
bag is empty, thoroughly clean the shredder chamber.
Troubleshooting
• The machine won't vacuum: Check whether the leaf collection bag is full. If it is, empty it;
check whether the lever for the reversing flap is in the correct position, otherwise have the
machine inspected by an authorised customer service firm.
• The machine won't blow: Check whether the lever for the reversing flap is in the correct

• The shredder wheel is blocked: Check whether an object has been sucked in that is too
large; a piece of wood, cardboard or other object has become jammed between the
impeller and shredder chamber. If the shredder wheel remains blocked have the machine

• If the machine vibrates, please immediately stop using it. Have the machine inspected
by an authorised customer service firm.
Repair Service
Repairs to electric power tools should only be carried out by specialist electrical personnel.
Disposal
The machine, its accesories and packaging should be transmitted to an environmentally
sound recycling. All platic parts are labelled to facilitate a clean recycling.
