Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
Grill won't turn on.
Food is undercooked.
Food is overcooked.

PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
• Is grill plugged in? Is timer rotated? Power ON Indicator will come on.
• Make sure electrical outlet is working. Test with a lamp known to be working.
• Power surge or outage. Check your electrical breaker box.
• Food not cooked long enough. When grilling meats, use a meat thermometer to measure internal
temperature. See Grilling Chart for more information.
• Cook with cover closed.
• Allow grill to fully preheat.
• Visit www.foodsafety.gov for more information on safe internal cooking temperatures and
temperatures for doneness of specific foods.
• Food cooked too long. When grilling meats, use a meat thermometer to measure internal tempera-
ture. See Grilling Chart for more information.
