points out important safety precautions. It
means "ATTENTION! Become Alert! Your
personal safety is involved!" Read the
message that follows and be alert to the

Wear hearing protection when sound level
is consistently above an 8-hour time
weighted average of 85 decibles or greater.
INSTRUMENT PRECAUTIONS
• Never store meter in hot (135°F, 57°C or
more) or humid area.
• Replace a weak or discharged battery as
soon as it is detected (see Maintenance
section).
