Model SFP33 Mounting Orientation
The same mounting consideration described for the Model SFP32 in liquid
and gas service can be applied to the Model SFP33. The Model SFP33 is
designed as a "flow-through" sensor with all the process fluid flowing
through the sensor. This design is ideal for measuring the pressure of
slurries, chemicals and ultrapure water where dead or stagnant zones are
not desired. This unit is designed to provide accurate measurement in any
mounting orientation. In some installations it may be desireable to have the
unit mounted in a vertical orientation so that it is self draining. Refer to
Figure 2-3.

The SFP instruments are available with amperage or voltage outputs
indicating measured pressure. The standard electrical connection is a
2-meter electrical cable with flying leads. Wiring options include longer
cable lengths with flying leads, a 5-pin female connector and a Turck
connector. The individual wiring requirements are illustrated in Figure 2-4
for flying lead voltage and 4-20 mA outputs.
