Ensure the disc dimensions match the grinder.
●
Store and operate discs according to the manufacturer's instructions.
●
Check disc before use. Do not use discs with dents, cracks or other damages.
●
Make sure disc-type grinding wheels and grinding cones are installed according to manufacturer's
instructions.
●
Ensure the disc is installed and fixed properly, start the tool without load for 30 seconds in safe
position. If vibration or other malfunctions can be observed stop the tool immediately. If the
situation repeats, check the tool and determine the cause.
●
Never use the tool without disc guard if it is supplied with the tool.
●
Do not use separate quills or reducers to install discs with too large holes.
●
When using tools designed for discs with threaded hole, ensure the length of the disc thread matches
the length of the spindle thread.
●
Ensure the processed work-piece is properly fixed.
●
Do not use cutting wheels for face grinding.
●
Make sure that sparks made while grinding do not incur any hazard, e.g. they do not fall on persons or
flammables.
●
Make sure vent holes are clean when working in dusty environment. Disconnect the tool from power
supply before dust removal.
●
Always wear ear and eye protection.
●
Using personal protection equipment is recommended, such as dust-mask, protection gloves,
hard helmet and protective apron.
●
Disc rotates after tool is switched off. Exercise caution.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Angle grinders are hand-operated power tools with insulation class II. Tools are driven by single-phase
commutator motors with rotational speed reduced with spiral bevel gears. This type of power tools is
widely used for removal of burrs from metal surfaces, weld surface processing, cutting light-wall tubes and
other small metal objects etc. They are used in engineering industry, motorization, and chemical industry.
With the use of proper tool angle grinders can be used for rust removal and polishing of metal and other
materials surfaces.
Use the power tool according to the manufacturer's instructions only.
