Mouse Game, yellow
(Please use 1 mouse ball)
Unlike the two tracing exercises, the
mouse and basketball games are
designed to train users to move freely
in order to place the mouse or ball in a specific
target. The Mouse game is a less complex game
as attention is focused solely on the mouse and
the cheese (target). However, three hurdles sha-
ped as a triangle, square and circle make it more
difficult for the mouse to reach the cheese. As well
as training balance, this insert therefore improves
orientation, cognitive function and coordination.
Basketball Game, green
(Please use 3 hard rubber balls)
The Basketball insert is also
designed to train users to coordina-
te their movements freely to achieve
a given target. However, it is far more because
it centres on three «balls» and three «baskets».
The level of difficulty is increased by the fact that
each of the «baskets» is a different shape. Simi-
larly, points are awarded for each basket, giving
this exercise a more competitive character. The
level of difficulty can be reduced to suit individual
requirements by removing one or two of the balls.
ZigZag, violet
(Please use 3 hard rubber balls)
This inlay needs an even, in acce-
leration and deceleration control-
led lateral weight shift from left to
right, in order to move the ball from one end of
the track to the other. At the same time a shift
of weight from the toes to the heels with precise
timing has to be integrated into the movement. This
small sagittal displacement at the peak of the lateral
motion features a very high demand at the control
of a rhythmic motion, focusing on the beginning
and the end (timing) of the motion. This «tracing»
task therefore exercises the target precision and
the timing of rhythmic motions and demands a
control of range and speed of motion within a motion
executed in full swing. This is a direct transfer to
everyday-motions. The elaboration of a precise,
relaxed timing by a performance at the highest at-
tainable velocity traces the path from voluntarily
controlled motion to extrapyramidal (automatic/
involuntarily) controlled motion, the base of each
everyday-motion.

Taurus-Maze, orange
(Please use 1 hard rubber ball)
This inlay is an extension of the task
«maze». Instead of a dynamic circular
motion a more controlled execution
with controlled changes of direction of the the cir-
cular motion is necessary in order to move the ball
from the periphery to the center or from the center to
the periphery. This «tracing» task improves the do-
sage control of used forces and the specific timing
of equilibrium and balancing qualities. This concen-
trated motoric transfer of a strategical problem so-
lution needs and exercises an intensive linking of
varoius cortical areas. Especially the fine motoric
version with precisely guided ball and the smallest
possible rebound rate of the ball at the securing
walls of the circular tracks demands, beside of the
orientation in space, a precise control of velocity.
The cognitive target of this task is the experience of
a slow motion at a high rate of static aspects.

Obstacle, turquoise
(Please use 1 hard rubber ball)
This exercise requires steady and
strict controlled movements with shifts
in direction to move the ball through
the obstacle from one edge to another. The aim is
to move the ball smoothly through the obstacle with
having a rebound as slightly as possible or to pre-
vent rubber ball from rebounding. There is – beside
of wrong ways and blind ends – only one possible
way through the obstacle. Orientation in space and
visual perception are consequently demanded. This
exercise trains additionally controlling of physical
strength and specific timing of equilibrium and ba-
lancing abilities.
YingYang, green
Please use 2 hard rubbers balls!
For getting started or in accordance
to user's skills exercise can initially be
done with only one rubber ball))
This inlay requires steady circulating movements in
order to move ball circularly in the periphery. After
moving the ball completely along circular path a shift
in direction is needed with variations in the speed at
which users shift weight. By decelerating and ad-
justed decreasing circular movements at the same
time rubber ball can be led in predefined track. Due
to dent in the center rubber balls stay lying down
depending on the inclination angle, in the meantime
second rubber ball is led into the center. This exer-
cise requires control of range and speed of motion
within a motion executed in full swing and demands
coordination of motion and balance. Furthermore
