2. Installation
2.1. Operating conditions
The burner can be operated within the following restrictions:
•
The environment should be dry (no bathroom, no outdoor usage
unless properly protected against moisture).
•
Enough fresh air should be available (in very well isolated houses:
ensure ventilation is sufficient).
•
Avoid heavy airflow (e.g. because of fans) in the room where the
burner is positioned.
•
The burner will produce heat, but should not be used as the
primary heating system for a building.
•
Make sure the size of the burner fits the size of the room (see § 1.5
Available models).
2.2. Safety precautions
The following safety precautions should be taken into account:
•
Use liquid ethanol only.
•
Keep the burner out of reach of children and pets.
•
Do not place any items on top of or inside the burner.
•
Do not leave the burner unattended while burning.
•
Do not touch the burner while it's still hot.
•
Flammable materials, such as curtains and decorations should stay
clear of the fireplace for at least 1 meter.
•
It's extremely dangerous to use bio-ethanol car fuel or any other
fuel not developed for bio-ethanol burners.
