8. Fit the cap and base moulding
around the column. If you have
cut the bottom of the column shaft
shorter, you will need to trim the base
trim pieces shorter with a miter saw.
Fasten them in place with a finish
nailer or trim screws. Use galvanized
or stainless steel fasteners.

9. If you want to use the included
neck moulding, fit the neck moulding
pieces around the column. Fasten
them in place with a finish nailer or
trim screws. Use galvanized or stain-
less steel fasteners.
