Halo Microchip Scanner
The Halo Microchip Scanner complies with ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 norms.
The Halo is Scanner Angel® compatible and is supplied with a USB lead for
charging the Halo's internal rechargeable battery.
Recharging
Before using your Halo for the first time, it will need to be charged for 3½
hours.
will appear on the display when the battery is running low with the
message "Battery Low".To recharge the battery, plug the USB cable into
the back of the Halo and into an available USB port on either a computer
or wall plugin charger. During the charging cycle, the display will switch
off. To see if the battery has finished charging, press the start button and
the display screen will inform you if it is "charging" or "charged".

Available Software
Depending on your application, there is a range of software available
including the Scanner Angel® software for the Halo which can be
downloaded from www.haloscanner.com. Please note there is no Mac OS
compatible software at the moment.
You do not need to install any software to use the Halo as a normal
traditional microchip scanner.
