Thank you for purchasing the 2 Million Brite-Nite
lantern is useful for accomplishing a variety of activities. In the field, it serves as a powerful
spotlight, at the campground, the lantern feature is very useful as a bright steady reading light.
During tire changes at night, the lantern can light the area. Two chargers are included allowing
either DC charge from a cigarette lighter socket or from any AC socket. With normal care and
proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service. Please read all operating instructions
carefully before use.

Do not shine directly into eyes.
•
Do not turn any light function on while charging. Doing so may damage the unit and
is not covered under warranty.
•
Lens becomes very hot during operation. Do not touch the lens while it is still hot. Do
not cover lens during operation.
•
Do not submerge the unit under water.
•
Do not operate this spotlight in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases, or dust. The battery can create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
•
When servicing always wear safety glasses when working with hardware.
CARE & STORAGE
•
Charge the unit completely before its first use. This will prolong the battery life.
•
As with all lead-acid cell batteries, be sure to recharge the battery fully every 3–6
months to prolong the life of the battery.
•
Battery operated spotlights with integral batteries must be recharged only with the
specified charger for the battery. A charger that may be suitable for one type of
battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.
•
Though durable and built to last, do not drop the unit excessively as this will greatly
reduce the life of the spotlight.
•
Occasionally check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts,
and any other conditions that may affect the spotlight's operation. If damaged, have
the spotlight serviced before using.
•
Do not abuse the DC or AC adaptors. Never use the adaptors to carry the spotlight.
Keep cords away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Replace damaged
cords immediately. Damaged cords may create a fire.
•
Turn off the unit and allow it to cool before storage or maintenance.
