INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Before using it for the first time, you are recommended
to switch it on while empty. You will appreciate some
smoke on its first use. This is normal and will not
cause any harm. It will disappear after a short while.
• When it is to be used for the first time, clean the
surface of the plate with a damp cloth and then dry it.
• Place the appliance on a smooth, horizontal and
stable surface and connect one end of the connector
to the appliance and plug the other end into the mains.
• The indicator light will switch on indicating that the
appliance is on.
• Then select the required temperature and the indicator
light will go out when the cooking temperature has
been reached.
• Place the food on the plate for it to be cooked.
• While in use, the ready indicator will light up and
go out at regular intervals This only means that the
thermostat is regulating the temperature of the
appliance.
• Caution!: when working, the cooking plate heats up.
Be careful not to burn yourself.
• Use a plastic or wooden spatula to handle the food
on the plate. Do not use a metallic knife as it could
