5. USING THE MACHINE

5.1. Turning on
To turn on and make the machine operational proceed as follows:
• (Fig.6) - Press the ON/OFF button; the light above the machine turns on; at this stage the machine is warming up.
• (Fig.10) - Promptly press the coffee button; with this procedure the water circuit is loaded. • After 30 seconds, press the
coffee button again to terminate the charging phase of the circuit.
• (Fig.6) - Wait until the machine ready light turns off; at this point the machine is ready to dispense coffee.

5.2. Coffee brewing

The machine only works with compatible capsules. Do not use capsules different than those
recommended. Each capsule can be used for only a single coffee; do not reuse spent capsules.
Caution: the capsule insertion area is close to the boiler. DO NOT insert fingers inside the
compartment; Burn danger!
• (Fig.7) - Lift the lever; maintain lever raised insert the capsule.
• Gently lower lever.
• (Fig.8) - Press down until locked in place.
• (Fig.9) - Place cup over grid cup support; make sure it is positioned under the coffee spout.
• (Fig.10) - Press the coffee button; coffee begins to flow out.
• (Fig.11) - When the desired amount of coffee is reached, press the coffee button again to finish dispensing.
• Remove the cup. Remember to extract the used capsule immediately afterwards, to avoid drying, creating tear and coffee
spill problems in the brewing area.

6. CLEANING THE MACHINE

Machine cleaning must be performed only when the machine is cold and disconnected A! from the power mains.
