To fully enjoy this beautifully crafted Je ersonian Kinetic Wind Vane, please read the following information.
The Je ersonian Kinetic Wind Vane was inspired by Thomas Je erson's a nity for invention and based on the design of a 19th century
centrifugal regulator. The beautiful aluminum cups will gently sweep around the main shaft and as the wind increases, the hinged joints will
allow the aluminum arms to rise and indicate the relative wind speed depicted in timeless illustrations on the solid brass arrow below.
Additionally, the brass arrow will gently turn to face the direction of the wind.
The instrument is made of solid brass and aluminum construction with glass accents. Within a few month's exposure to the elements, the
brass nish will begin to age gracefully and develop a mellow patina. This aging process is what we call "Living Finish Brass. "
Ideal Instrument Placement: For best indications of wind speed and direction, place your Kinetic Wind Vane in an open area that is
unobstructed by buildings and trees.
