The generator must be switched off immediately if the following
symptoms are noticed:
- changes of the engine's speed of revolution,
- overheating of the devices connected to the generator,
- sparking,
- smoke or fl ames coming out of the device,
- unwanted vibration.
The fuel feed system must be checked periodically. If you notice
leaks, have the unit repaired by an authorised servicing centre.
Wait until the engine of the unit has reached its rated engine
revolutions before connecting electrical equipment.
All repairs should only be carried out by an authorised servicing
centre.
Do not allow fuel to run out while the engine is running!
Do not cover the ventilation inlets and outlets. Even when the
generator is not running.
Before transporting the generator, it is necessary to empty the
fuel tank.
PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION
CAUTION! The checking procedure must be carried out on the
generator before each start-up.
WARNING! The generator is supplied with only a small amount
of oil in the gearbox. The oil must be topped up before the gen-
erator's fi rst operation. Check the oil level regularly and top up if
necessary. Starting the generator without oil or with too little oil in
the gearbox will cause irreparable damage to the engine.
Checking the oil level
Unscrew the oil fi ller cap.
The oil level should not be higher than the lower edge of the fi ller.
If necessary, top up the oil to the level indicated in fi gure (II).
Good quality oil should be used for four-stroke combustion en-
gines, with the viscosity grade given in the technical data table.
Close the oil fi ller by screwing in the cap.
Caution! When topping up the oil, the generator should be placed
on a fl at and even surface. If the generator has been tilted, place
it on a fl at and even ground and wait at least 30 minutes for the
oil level to stabilise.
Caution! It is recommended to use a nozzle and/or funnel to top
up the oil. This will reduce the risk of oil spillage. In the event
of oil spillage, carefully clean the oil residue before starting the
generator.
Refi lling the fuel
Recommended fuel, unleaded petrol with octane number greater
than 93.
Use fuel and oil free of any contaminants and designed for four-
stroke engines. It is recommended to use high quality products.
This will extend the engine's service life.
Do not top up the fuel tank above the full tank marker. Leave a
clear space between the fuel surface and the top of the fuel tank.
It is recommended to use a nozzle and/or funnel to top up the
fuel. This will reduce the risk of spillage. If any spillage occurs
during topping up, the spillage must be thoroughly wiped out be-
fore the starting the generator.
Smoking is not permitted when refuelling.
Turn the fi ller cap counter-clockwise and remove it from the fi ller

hole. The cap has two tabs, which must simultaneously hit two
notches in the fuel fi ller fl ange (III). Closing is done by turning the
cap clockwise as far as it will go. Only this way can the fi ller cap
be fi tted or removed.
A fuel fi lter (IV) has been fi tted inside the fuel fi ller which serves
to retain some of the mechanical impurities that may be present
in the fuel. Always fi ll the tank with the fi ller fi lter installed.
The capacity of the fuel tank is specifi ed in the table. The tank is
equipped with a mechanical fuel level indicator (V). If the indica-
tor is close to the "E" marker, the tank is empty. If the indicator is
close to the "F" marker, the tank is full.
Generator grounding
Connect the cable between the grounding system and the gener-
ator to the point marked on the generator. The generator must be
connected to a grounding system by a person with appropriate
electrical qualifi cations.
After the preparatory work has been completed, the generator
can be put into operation.
GENERATOR OPERATION
Start-up of the combustion engine
Before starting the generator, disconnect all electrical equipment
from the sockets in the generator.
Move the economic operation switch (black) marked „ECON.
SW" to the off position: OFF / O.
Move the engine switch (red) to the on position: ON / I.
Close the throttle by moving the suction lever as far as it will go
in the direction of the "OFF" mark (VI).
Caution! Do not close the throttle if the engine is warm (for exam-
ple, after a refuelling break). In this case, move the suction lever
to the position marked "ON".
Open the fuel valve by turning it to the „ON" position (VII).
Pull the starter pull cord smoothly several times until you feel
the resistance caused by the engine compression, then pull it
vigorously and fi rmly (VIII).
Withdraw the cord handle in a smooth motion until it is complete-
ly hidden in the generator housing. Do not let go the cable handle
so that it hides suddenly in the housing. This can cause damage
to the starter.
As the engine heats up, open the throttle gradually, moving the
suction lever gradually in the direction of the "ON" mark. Allow
the engine to run smoothly after changing the position of the suc-
tion lever. The return speed of the suction lever depends on the
weather conditions, in which the engine is started. The lower the
ambient temperature, the slower the return.
Generator operating status lights
The generator has been equipped with LED lights informing the
user about the operating status of the generator.
Operating light (green) - the light will turn on if the generator is
operating correctly. The engine operates correctly and the gen-
erator generates voltage.
Oil status light (yellow) - the light turns on if the oil level falls
below the safe level, and then the operation of the mechanical
engine stops automatically. It will not be possible to restart the
generator until the oil has been topped up. If the light fl ashes,
the oil level is insuffi cient. Stop the generator, top up the oil and
restart the generator.
