DESCRIPTION
The actuator is an electronic device powered at 24V with 0-10V. It is
distinguished by its compact size, which enables it to be installed in small
spaces; coupling the actuator with compatible valve bodies requires no
plumbing work (emptying of the system) and is a simple operation. A LED
provides an instant reading of the operating status (On, Off, limit stop, anti-
jamming) of the actuator.

HOW IT WORKS
The actuator works thanks to the rotation of a shaft, which is driven in both
directions by a series of gears.
The gears are in turn driven by a bidirectional synchronous motor via a
magnetic coupling which limits the torque transmitted and thus also the linear
force output.
The actuator is fixed to the valve body (Fig. 1) by means of a threaded
locknut. The movement of the actuator is transmitted to the valve stem by
axial contact and maintained constant by means of a spring positioned in the
valve body.
In this manner, the valve opening and closing forces are obtained in one
direction by the pushing force of the actuator (Fs opens way B, Fig. 2) and
in the other direction by the force of the spring (Fm opens way A, Fig. 2)
situated inside the valve itself.
If the actuator is removed from the valve body, the valve will remain open.

INSTALLATION
Never use the actuator like a lever for assembly purposes (figure 3)
Electrical connections
The wiring diagram is provided on the motor cover exterior.
The colours of the wires may vary; refer to the wiring diagram label or instruction
sheet provided with the motor.
For EMUJC010 Positive control signal (+) white wire, Negative control signal
(-) black wire.
CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
In the event of assembly or maintenance work:
- Make sure the power supply is disconnected, in order to
prevent damage to the equipment or injury to persons.
- Do not touch, connect or disconnect conductors when
the power supply is connected.
When making the electrical connections, abide by the following instructions:
- Before connecting make sure the power supply is disconnected or off in
order to prevent damage to the materials or injury to persons.
- Make sure the power supply matches the specifications on the actuator
cover.
All connections must comply with current laws and regulations and
must be carried out by specialised personnel.
NOTES
- The control signal comes from the MYCOMFORT
LARGE controller panel: refer to the manual provided
for instructions and electrical connections.
- Galletti units are not equipped with a 230V - 24V
transformer. Provide an independent power supply.
