C. INSTRUCTIONS
1. With the RUBIMIX mixing machine you have a valuable tool
that enables you to make homogeneous mixtures of tiling
mortar, pre-mixed cements, facing cement, grout, paints and
varnishes. Two different models are available to satisfy the
needs of all types of user:
RUBIMIX-25-N Modelfor mixing up to 25 Kg.
RUBIMIX-50-N Modelfor mixing up to 50 Kg.
2 & 3. Consult the manufacturers instructions for the exact
amount of water to be used to prepare the mixture.
RUBIMIX-25-N Fill the drum with the required amount of
water to mix 25 Kg of mortar.
Start the RUBIMIX mixer and add about 12 Kg of cement at
one time. Once this part is mixed, slowly add the rest of the
cement.
RUBIMIX-50-N Fill the drum with the required amount of
water to mix 50 Kg of mortar.
Start the RUBIMIX mixer and add one sack (25 Kg) of cement
all at once. Once the first sack is completely mixed, slowly add
the contents of the second sack (Fig 3.).
4. RUBIMIX-25-N and RUBIMIX-50-N machines are fitted with a
removable handle to enable easy packing and storage of the
machine (Fig.4-5).
5. Once mixing has been completed disconnect the mixer from
the power supply to prevent any accidents. Before lifting the
gearbox shaft, make sure that the blades are in the position
shown (Fig. 2). The "H" handle will aid in lifting the gearbox shaft.
D. SAFETY MEASURES
1. The machine is equipped with a double safety system to protect
the motor against overheating and excess power consumption.
Should the machine stop for no apparent reason, it is probably
due to an overload. Wait a few minutes for the safety circuit to
rearm itself.
2. Do not attempt to stop the machine from rotating.
3. Read these instructions carefully before operating the machine
and keep them in a safe place.
4. Disconnect the machine from the power supply before carrying
out any adjustments, servicing or maintenance work. Only use
the machine in combination with a differential circuit breaker and
with a power connection plug offering F1 protection.
5. Keep the work area clear. Untidy work areas and benches may
cause accidents.
6. Do not leave the machine exposed to bad weather conditions.
7. Do not use the machine in wet or humid sites.
8. Keep the work area well lit.
9. Do not use the machine in the presence of inflammable liquids
or gasses.
10. Avoid contact of any part of the body with surfaces connected
to ground or earth.
11. Do not allow unauthorised persons, especially children, to touch
the machine or the extension cords and keep them away from
the work area
12. This machine gives better performance and is safer when used
in accordance with its rated design capacity.
E. MAINTENANCE
1. Inspect the wiring of the machine at regular intervals and if it
is damaged, contact an authorised service technician.
