In the event of a clear improvement in the general condition, you can limit
treatment to once a day.
• You can take the first session in the morning, before or after breakfast, and
the last in the evening before going to bed. During the day you can take the
appliance with you and use it when you have an opportunity.
6. PREVENTIVE USE
You can use your AllergoLux appliance preventively, as well as during an acute allergy
phase. No doubt you know when your allergy tends to come on, and what type of pollen
triggers it.
Keep informed of the pollen situation, on Internet for example. That way you will know
when various types of pollen will be present in the air in your area, and you can apply
preventive treatment in due time.
Begin this preventive treatment one week before the critical period announced for the
presence of the pollen to which you are allergic. We recommend doing two or three
sessions a day, depending on the severity of your allergy.

7. SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS

• This appliance is approved for home use, and should not be used in a
professional context. It does not replace consultation of your doctor.
• Children must necessarily have adult supervision when using the appliance.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children.
• When the batteries are worn out, give them to your local waste sorting and
treatment centre for recycling.
• Do not short-circuit the battery; do not throw it in a fire.
• Use the appliance exclusively as indicated in the instructions. Any other use
could cause damage to the appliance and voids the guarantee.
• Do not use any applicator other than the one supplied with the appliance.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself in any way. Take the appliance
to a specialized repair centre.
• The sessions using the AllergoLux appliance are generally perceived to
be pleasant. In the event of pain or discomfort, stop using the appliance
immediately and ask advice from your doctor.
• The appliance has little or no effect in the following cases:
- Chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa,
- Deformation of the septum or polyps.
8. CLEANSING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the two diodes after each use with a damp cloth and gentle soap
• Never use harsh cleansers or hard brushes.
• Do not plunge the cable or the appliance with the diodes in water. If liquid
penetrates the appliance, remove the battery immediately and contact your
point of sales.
• You can disinfect the nasal applicator by using an alcohol disinfectant, for
example 70% ethanol.
• Remove the battery from the appliance if you are not planning to use it for a
long period of time. By doing this, you prevent any problem with a leaking
