The electrical connection of the frequency con-
verter must correspond to the diagrams contained
in the following table:
- Max. permissible mains side fuse protection: 20 A.
The frequency converter could be dam-
ATTENTION!
aged if connected incorrectly.
The electric cable is never to be allowed to
come into contact with either the pipe or the
pump. Furthermore, it must be completely
shielded against moisture.
Property damage is possible!
ATTENTION!
Because of operational settings, an
incorrectly connected core in the con-
nection area could damage the frequency
converter.
• Disconnect the core at both of its end
points from electrical connection
• Pull it off
There are 3 operating modes (see chapter 6:
Starting up):
Manual mode: Mode 1
Pressure regulation mode: Mode 2
External control mode: Mode 3
Connecting terminals 1 to 5 and 6 to 11 according
to diagrams 1 to 7 allows to get Mode 1 or Mode
2 or Mode 3.
You can get access to terminals 6 to 11 without
disassembling the board supporting the L and N
terminals. In case of any accessing trouble, the
board can be removed.
Electrical risk: Reconnect the earth cable
ATTENTION!
and tighten the 2 fixing screws to a tor-
que of 1 to 2 Nm.
Details concerning the electrical connections -
loosen screws and remove upper cover of the
frequency converter.
Connection to mains supply
Connect the 3-wire cable to the power terminals
(phases + earth).
Connection of inputs / outputs
41/42 : Failure contact (free contact)
10V : +10V DC max 5mA
0V : Zero volt
+24V : +24V DC max 200mA
