3. If the readiness indicator is green, immerse the sensor (7) maximally to the marking (8)
in the brake fl uid.
If the readiness indicator is red, no measurement can be taken. Clean brake fl uid
residue from the sensor, until the readiness indicator lights up green.
4. When the sensor is immersed in the brake fl uid, the ongoing measurement is indicated
by the blinking of the readiness LED.
5. After 3 seconds, the boiling point temperature can be read in the result display (5).
6. If, after fi nishing the measurement, no further measurements are taken, the system
automatically switches off after 45 seconds.
Interpreting the measurement results

1. One of the green LEDs is lit (boiling point between 200°C and 240°C) or is blinking
(boiling point above 240°C):
The brake fl uid is OK.
2. One of the yellow LEDs is lit (boiling point between 170°C and 190°C)
The brake fl uid must be exchanged soon.
3. One of the red LEDs is lit (boiling point between 150°C and 160°C) or is blinking
(boiling point below 150°C):
The brake fl uid must be exchanged immediately.
