SET UP & USE

EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLER SET-UP

Remove all packaging material
Before using the evaporative air cooler for the first time, clean the water tank
with a mild soap and water solution before using the COOLING/HUMIDIFICA-
TION function.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

Remove the water tank by turning the water tank lock
counterclockwise (left) to the unlock position as shown.
Fill the tank with clean, cool water up to the MAX line.
Do not exceed the MAX line.
Turn the water tank lock back to locked position.
USING THE OPTIONAL ICE PACKS
Your Air Cooler comes with 2 ice packs that create additional cooling. They are
not required for use. To use an ice pack, place it in the freezer until completely
frozen. Add the chilled ice pack to the water tank while filled with water and
reinstall the water tank.
The ice pack will cool the water before extracting it into the air. When one ice
pack is in use, the second pack can be chilled in the freezer for continuous use.
NOTE:
Do not attempt to open the ice pack
USING THE COOLING PAD
The Air Cooler comes with a Cool-
ing pad that becomes saturated
with water in order to create a
cool, moist environment.
Press down on the filter tabs in or-
der to remove the filter in order to
access the cooling pad. See Clean-
ing and Maintenance on page 12
for additional instructions for use.
NOTE:
Do not operate the COOL-
ING/HUMIDIFICATION function
without the cooling pad in place.
Locked position
The MIN and MAX water level lines
are marked in the back exterior of
the water tank
