Operation
KTS Truck must be connected to a PC/Laptop by way
of Bluetooth or the USB interface.
!
Do not subject the Bluetooth USB adapter

!
Under no circumstances can the KTS Truck be
connected to a laptop via the USB connecting
cable if a power supply unit is connected via the
cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle and the laptop
is powered via this power supply unit. This can
damage the KTS Truck. In this case, communication
between the laptop and KTS Truck must be
established via Bluetooth.

Notes on control unit diagnosis
KTS Truck is supplied with power by way of either
the adapter cable with battery clips provided, the
connecting cable for the cigarette lighter socket or the
OBD interface in the vehicle.
i
On some vehicles, the ignition must be switched on
for power to be supplied via the OBD interface.
Connection to the diagnostic connector in the vehicle
is made by using one of the following options:
R
The OBD diagnostic cable (fig.3, item 4)
R
OBD diagnostic cable together with vehicle-specific
adapter cable (fig. 3, item 3) (special accessory)
R
Universal adapter cable (fig. 3, item 5).
!
Make sure the OBD connection cable is properly
connected to the KTS Truck. Incorrect connection
could cause the pins of the plug to bend or break
off. Only use the OBD diagnostic cable contained
in the scope of delivery!
