6. Torque Setting
Torque value adjust-
ment with HAZET
Adjustment Wrench
6399:
• Loosen the counter nut screw in the handle
by turning the outer pin wrench of the HAZET
Adjustment Wrench 6399 to the left.
• For torque value adjustment use the inner
6-point wrench and control at the same time
whether the desired torque value is reached.
• To lock the torque value, tighten the counter
nut screw in the handle by turning the outer pin
wrench to the right.
• Only use the original Adjustment Wrench
HAZET 6399 in conhunction with a torque
testing
device
torque values. Unauthorized readjustment or
tampering of the torque value is impossible.
7. Operation
How to get the exact torque
• The HAZET torque wrench must only be
operated with the handle at right angles to the
screw connection!
• The force used must be applied uniformly by
hand at the centre of the handle
• Torque controlled screw tightening is only
possible in direction of actuation (direction of
arrow).
• The torque wrench must always be applied to
the screw connection in a way that the screw
connection is tightened in direction of arrow.
So it is possible to tighten screw connections
with left as well as with right hand thread at the
indicated release accuracy.
• In order to prevent incorrect load application,
do not use extension pieces or universal joints.
• In use, the HAZET torque wrench indicates the
moment when the adjusted torque has been
reached:
• audibly by clicking,
• by a close-gap release which can be felt.
The operation must then be stopped imme-
diately!
• The greater the preset torque, the stronger the
audible or sensory signal.
