1.1 Digital Temperature Spear DT-20 (hereinafter referred to as DT-20) is intended for
temperature measuring of bulk materials: grain, feed, etc.) during their storage in warehouses
and granaries.
1.2 DT-20 ambient operation conditions:
Ambient air temperature -10 to +50 °С;
Relative humidity up to 80 % at 25 °С;

Packing
4.1 DT-20 consists of a bar and a handle with a cover and digital screen. the temperature
sensor is located at the lower bar end, in a taper tip. The °С/°F start button is under the digital
indicator.
4.2 The electronic module converts signals received from the temperature sensor and displays
these values on the digital indicator in Celsius degrees (°С) or Fahrenheit degrees (°F).
5.1 DT-20 is powered from 6 V battery package, does not causes electrical interferences and
is absolutely safe.
5.2 During its storage, use and transportation, DT-20 shall be positioned in a manner
preventing its falling down or impacts from objects around it.
6.1 Unpack DT-20 and inspect it visually to detect possible external damages.
6.2 DT-20, which were transported under cold temperatures (<0°С), shall be unpacked in a
heated premise, after leaving them unpacked for an hour.
7.1 Immerse DT-20 to a required depth into a bulk material, which you want to measure, and
keep it in a measured medium during at least three minutes.
7.2 Press shortly once the °С/°F button.
7.3 After the short indication of– – –, within seven seconds, DT-20 measures and indicates
the temperature; then the digital indicator blinks off.
7.4 For next temperature measuring, re-press shortly the °С/°F button.
