11. Place the water filter on the wall. To do this, use a set of fasteners
and a stencil from the top of the box.
12. After installing the new filter cartridges, flush the water filter in
accordance with the section "Flushing the filter".
Cartridges installation
•
Remove protecting film from the cartridge.
•
Insert the cartridges into the housing to a stop; rotate the cartridge
counter clockwise to a click.
................................................................................................................................
ATTENTION! Under-twisting the cartridge to the final position (ac-
companied by a click) can cause leaks

FLUSHING THE FILTER
................................................................................................................................
ATTENTION! Mind the order of cartridges installation before flushing.
Positions of the cartridges in the water filter are given in Installation.

ECO Pro
•
Open the cold water supply, make sure the water filter is not
leaking.
•
Let the water flow through the water filter for 5 minutes.
•
Close the clean water tap and leave the water filter for 5 minutes.
•
Repeatedly let the water flow through the water filter for 5 minutes.
•
Close the clean water tap and make sure that all connections
are properly sealed.
•
The water filter is ready for use.
ECO Н Pro
•
Replace the Pro H cartridge with a flush plug.
•
Open the cold water supply, make sure the water filter is not
leaking. Open the clean water tap, wait until the air stops com-
ing out of it. Use the tap on the connection unit to set the water
flow rate to 2.0 l/min. Let the water flow through the water filter
for 5 minutes.
•
Close the clean water tap and leave the water filter for 5 minutes.
•
Repeatedly let the water flow through the water filter for 5 minutes.
•
Close water before the water filter and keep the clean water
tap open.
•
Install the Pro H cartridge instead of the flush plug.
•
Open the cold water supply and let the water flow through the
water filter for 5 minutes.
•
Close the clean water tap and make sure that all connections
are properly sealed.
•
The water filter is ready for use.
................................................................................................................................
ATTENTION! When flushing filter with the plug in place, control the
flow rate in order to prevent any leakage.

REPLACEMENT OF FILTERING
CARTRIDGES
•
Close water before the water filter and open the clean water tap
to discharge pressure.
•
Install new cartridges as described in the section "Cartridges
installation".
•
Open the cold water supply, make sure the water filter is not
leaking.
•
After installing new filtering cartridges, flush the filter as described
in Section "Flushing the filter".
RECOVERY OF PRO H CARTRIDGE
Frequency of recovery shall depend on the initial water hardness.
Use of the softening replacement cartridge Pro H with ion exchange
resin is efficient for water of moderate or average hardness.
6
If the water hardness is more than 5 mEq/l, it is recommended to use
a reverse osmosis water filter Aquaphor OSMO or Drinking water
filters Aquaphor RO.
Initial water hardness
3–6° dh
6–8,5° dh
8,5–11° dh
11–14° dh
Recovering the softening properties of the Pro H
cartridge
•
Close water before the water filter and open the clean water tap
to discharge pressure.
•
Unscrew the Pro H cartridge that needs to be recovered counter
clockwise.
•
Assemble and connect the recovery adaptor to Pro H cartridge (the
adaptor comes in the water filter set or is purchased separately)
•
Insert the gasket (3) into the nut (2).
•
Put the nut (2) with the gasket (3) on the adaptor (1) to a stop. Put
the plastic tube (4) on the adaptor fitting (1).
•
Insert the adaptor (1) tightly into the cartridge (6). Screw onto the
nut (2) a clean standard plastic bottle (5) with a cut-off bottom
(to use it as funnel).
•
Prepare a saturated solution of cooking salt (approx. 300 g/l) in
2–2.5 liters of boiling water (use non- iodized salt).
•
Set the cartridge with the attached plastic bottle vertically (for
example, by putting it into a jar). Direct the plastic tube into the sink.
•
Run the salt solution through the cartridge. Check the sediment
left after the salt is dissolved would not get into the cartridge.
After flushing the salt solution, flush 2.5 liters of boiled water
through the cartridge.
•
The cartridge is ready for use.
NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
If the water hardness is more than (7 mEq/l), it may acquire
Na Ca
a slightly salty taste after softening. This is due to exchange
of calcium ions into natrium ions. It does not indicate failure
of the water filter and is not harmful to your health.
If you use ECO Pro for additional treatment of hard water,
you might see white sediment in filtered water or a surface
film of salts. This does not indicate failure of the water filter.
Preferably use ECO Н Pro for water softening.
If the ambient temperature during operation of the water
filter has reached +38 °C (the maximum operating temper-
ature for the product), it must be disconnected from the
cold water supply until the temperature drops.
If you have no intention to use the water filter for 24 hours
or longer, it must be disconnected from the cold water
supply (the inlet tap is closed).
If you did not use your water filter for more than one week,
run water through it for 5 minutes before use.
It is not recommended to store filtered water. Use only
freshly filtered water.
Protect the water filter from shocks and falling during trans-
portation, storage and use, as well as from water freezing
inside of the water filter.
It is recommended that your water filter is connected by a
qualified plumber who is certified to perform the installation.
The manufacturer is not responsible for the improper qual-
ity of the work on connecting the water filter to the water
supply, as well as for the result of this work. Responsibility
