Punching Holes
A
1. First, align the adjustable margin guide on the left-
most side of the punching area to correspond to
appropriate paper size. When inserting paper, be
sure all sheets are flush with margin guide and slide

to backmost portion of punching area.
NOTE: a maximum of 3 sheets can be punched at a
time.

2. With palm of hand, gently press downward on
punching button to punch holes in the paper. Release
hand. (Figure 1)
3. Remove sheets from punching area.
4. Repeat until all sheets and covers have been
punched.

Binding the Document
Use the table below to select the appropriate plastic
comb according to the number of sheets to be bound:

1. Before binding, be sure the binding lever is in a
closed position. This is accomplished when the
moving binding rakes are flush with the stationery
binding posts.
2. Insert the plastic comb behind the binding rakes. Be
sure the open side of the plastic comb's teeth are
facing upward. Slide comb to right.
3. To open comb, rotate binding lever up and away
from self. (Figure 2)
NOTE: the maximum a comb can be opened will vary
by the diameter of the comb.
4. Insert the punched sheets onto the open comb.
NOTE: for a correctly bound document, the first page
of your document should be the first page
placed onto the comb.
5. Close comb by returning the binding lever to its
original starting position.
6. To remove bound document, slide to left and lift
upward.
