OPERATION
1.- Place the hose adaptor on the vacuum port and secure it by turning it clockwise, until the hose adaptor holds in place.
2.- Push hose into adaptor and insert an accessory on the other end of the hose.
3.- Turn ON the vacuum cleaner.
4.- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner without HEPA filter in place.
TO REPLACE THE HEPA FILTER
Unplug the unit before servicing.
1.- Pull the tank latches to release the vacuum head.
2.- Turn the head upside down and unscrew the wing nut that holds the filter bottom plate.
3.- Pull out the HEPA filter from the metal cage, and replace with a new HEPA filter.
4.- Place the bottom plate, washer and tight down wing nut.
TO REPLACE DUST BAG (OPTIONAL)
Unplug the unit before servicing.
1.- Remove the vacuum head from the tank.
2.- Pull cardboard bag collar off holder. Remove and discard used dust bag.
3.- Slide clean replacement bag collar into holder.
4.- Place vacuum cleaner head in position and secure it with the latches.
MAINTENANCE
1.- Service the vacuum cleaner only in Authorized service centers.
2.- To protect the HEPA filter it is recommended to use the Vacuum cleaner with a Koblenz microfiltration dust bag.
This Koblenz vacuum cleaner is warranted to be free from all defects in materials and workmanship in a
period of one year.
The warranty does not cover parts that wear under normal use such as, filter, paper bags and bumpers.
This warranty shall not apply to damage or malfunction caused by negligence, abuse or product which
has been altered or repaired by an unauthorized person or service center you only need to show this
contract along with proof of purchase in anyone of the service centers ( see enclosed list of authorized
service centers or call 1-800-849-4711 for instructions).
Koblenz will either repair or replace, at its election, all defective machines during the warranty period. The
foregoing obligations are in lieu of all other obligations and liabilities including negligence and state
Koblenz's entire and exclusive liability and purchaser's exclusive remedy. Koblenz will in no event be
liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses whatsoever and
Koblenz's liability under no circumstances will exceed the contract price for the goods or parts for which
liability is claimed .
