Hydraulic foot pump maintenance
1. Bleeding
After maintenance work or if there was too little oil in the tank, there is air in the hydraulic
system. The pump must then be bled.
The bleeding is performed as follows:
• Remove reservoir lid (1)
• Unscrew the screw (2) in the pump piston by one or two turns
• Keep pumping until there are no more air bubbles
• Tighten the screw (2) in the piston rod and screw the reservoir lid (1) back on.
The bleeding must be carried out for both pump pistons.
