2. Oil change
The hydraulic oil should be changed every 2 years by undoing the screw plug (Pos. 26) at
the bottom of the pump casing. In doing so, ensure that the valve ball and the spring do
not get lost so that they can be replaced when finished.
Only use clean, branded oil as hydraulic oil (see the lubricants table for types of oil).
The hydraulic system must be bled after changing the oil.
3. Adjusting the release pedal
If the release spindle (Pos. 31) is not correctly adjusted, the following problems can occur:
• Load handler with load also descends when in the rest position.
• The unloaded unit can only be lowered very slowly.
In such cases, the release spindle must be readjusted.
Adjusting the release spindle under load:
• Undo the locknut (Pos. 32).
-
Turn the release spindle (Pos. 31) clockwise with a screwdriver until the load descends
slowly, then slowly turn to the left until the load remains stationary and then secure
again with the locknut.
This ensures that the complete lowering speed range can be used.
