Trigger Switch and Trigger Lock
(Fig.3)
To lock the trigger switch, push the trigger lock
upward. The trigger switch will not work while
the trigger lock is in the locked position. Lock
the trigger switch when storing the tool and
when the tool is not in use. To unlock the trigger
switch, push the trigger lock downward.
LED Worklight
The LED worklight, located on the front of the auto hammer, will turn on when the trigger switch
is depressed. The LED worklight will turn off approximately 10 seconds after the trigger switch
is released. This provides additional lighting on the surface of the workpiece for operation in
lower-light areas.
The LED light will rapidly flash when the tool and/or the battery pack are outside the
recommended temperature range, and the internal sensors will turn the tool off. Rest the tool
and battery pack for a while in room temperature if they are too cold or place the tool and
battery pack separately under air flow to cool them if they are too hot.
The LED light will flash more slowly to indicate that the battery is at low-battery capacity.
Recharge the battery pack.
Articulating Hammer-head (Fig. 4)
The hammer-head pivot-lock button allows you
to position the head at 0°, 45°, or 90°. Depress
the hammer-head pivot-lock button to release
the hammer-head. Pivot the head to one of
operating angles suitable for the task and then
release the pivot-lock button.
