MAKING CAPPUCCINO
1.
Prepare espresso coffee, using cups that are large enough for cappuccinos. Make sure
the steam knob is in the off position.
2.
Press the espresso/frothing select button to the espresso position, waiting for the green
indicator light to come on.
3.
Fill the cup with about 100 grams of milk for each cappuccino to be prepared. The milk
must be at refrigerator temperature (not hot!). In choosing the size of the cup, bear in
mind that the milk increases the volume by 2 to 3 times.
4.
Place the cup with the milk under the filter holder spouts.
5.
Place the steam tube in the milk ensuring that the nozzle is just under the surface of the
milk and open the steam knob by turning the steam knob anti-clockwise.
Never turn the steam knob rapidly, as the steam will accumulate rapidly in short time
which may increase the risk of explosion.
6.
Move the cup up and down under the steam hose to form frothing.
7.
When the milk has sufficient foaming, turn the steam knob clockwise to close the steam
valve and press the espresso/frothing select button to stop generating the steam.
8.
Pour Espresso into frothed milk and mix them together by a spoon. Appropriate volume of
chocolate powder could be added.
9.
If more cups of Cappuccino are required, follow the instructions above, first ensuring the
boiler has cooled down.
