Connect anti-vacuum suction hose with
backflow stop valve on the suction side.
(see special accessories)
Note: Please use original Kärcher suction
lines, filter components and hose connec-
tions. If components made by other manu-
facturers are used, there can be
malfunctions when suctioning the liquid, es-
pecially if you are using bayonet connection
systems.
With fixed installations: Connect the
pressure side to the pressure line using
a flexible pressure compensating hose
to reduce noise (see special accesso-
ries).
Tip: To make subsequent empting of the
system and pressure release easier, we
All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com
recommend you install a shut-off valve be-
tween pump and pressure line.
(not included in delivery)
By closing the shut-off valve when empty-
ing the pump you can prevent water from
escaping from the pressure line.

Note: If sandy water is to be transported,
we strongly recommend using an additional
prefilter (see special accessories). Please
install this filter on the suction side of the
pump, between the suction hose and the
pump.
System is under pressure!

Tip: When using the pump as a garden
pump, raise the pressure hose to approx.
1m to reduce the suction time.
Missing water supply is detected by the ap-
pliance. If no water is suctioned within the
first four minutes, the pump will switch off.
The display shows "Err1" (error on suction
side).
Tip: Descriptions of the failure modes
"Err1" and "Err2" can be found in the table
"Troubleshooting".
Unscrew the lid of the filling nozzle and
fill in water till it overflows.
Screw on the lid on the filling nozzle.
Open existing shutoff valves in the pres-
sure pipe.
Operation
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
Turn on the machine.
Wait until pump suction is established
and uniform, and then close the shut-off
valve on the pressure line.
After the pressure is built up, the pump
will shut off after a short trailing time.
