EN IMPORTANT INFORMATION. READ. KEEP
1. WARNING! ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
- Connections and safety features must be executed according to the locally applicable regula-
tions.
- Ensure that the equipment is used under the correct ambient conditions. The unit must be
used and stored in an indoor area away from direct sunlight, moisture, dusty environment, heat,
freezing temperatures or conductive contaminant. Ensure there is adequate free space for ven-
tilation around the product and check that the ventilation vents are not blocked.
- The product has no internal user-serviceable components. Never open the housing as high
voltages may be present inside!
2. WARNING! FIRE HAZARD
- Use DC-cables with an appropriate size. Place a fuse in the positive wiring nearby battery (P.29).
- Consult battery information to ascertain that it is intended for use in conjunction with the unit.
Always comply with the battery safety instructions.
- If positive and negative wires on the DC input are exchanged, the unit will be damaged. Damage
of this kind is not covered by warranty.
3. WARNING! Do not connect the AC-output of the unit to an incoming AC source. Do not use the
unit with life support systems or any other medical equipment or devices.
4. SAFETY CLASS I. This is a Safety Class I product (supplied with a protective grounding terminal).
Operation of the unit without proper grounding may lead to hazardous situations! Comply with
local grounding requirements and regulations.
5. SAFETY EQUIPMENT. This product should be installed by a qualified electrician. Ensure that
safety equipment is used.
6. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND ANIMALS. Electrical devices are not children's toys. Always
keep and use the device out of the reach of children and animals.
7. EMC INFORMATION. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
CE EMCstandard.
8. BATTERY BANK. The use of XUNZEL deep cycle battery is highly recommended when using the
unit.
9. ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD. The unit 'On/Off' switch does not disconnect the DC power from
the battery. Use a DC Disconnect Switch or disconnect the DC input cables before working on
any circuit connected to the unit. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or serious
injury.
10. AC LOAD ON POWER INVERTER. Although the unit can provide high surge power, some high
surge loads like sump-pumps, heavy duty motors etc. may still trigger the inverter protection sys-
tem even though the load falls within the power rating of the inverter. A higher power Inverter is
required for these appliances.
