Positioning the energizer

Position the energizer in an upright position on firm ground, away from flooding and out of reach
of animals and children.
If possible, position the energizer in a sheltered area to protect it from the weather and improve
visibility of the indicator lights. Try to position the energizer as near as possible to the centre of
the electric fence. Ensure that the energizer, battery, earth rods and all connections are protected
from interference by animals.

Connecting the energizer to the fence

1. C onnect the green earth lead clip to the fence earth terminal( ) on the energizer and then
to the earthing system. Ensure there is good contact.
2. C onnect the red fence lead clip to the fence output terminal( ) of the energizer and then to
the fence. Ensure there is a good connection.
Both leads can be found inside the energizer battery cradle.
