5.1 Design and function

KNX/EIB louvre EduTrainer – front view
The louvre is used to emulate situations in building automation. For this purpose, the louvre can be raised
or lowered and the slat position can be influenced. The connections for controlling "UP" and "DOWN" are
routed to 4 mm safety sockets.
In addition, the panel contains the KNX system distribution for 230 V. The locations of all connections are
standardised and are routed to safety sockets or system plugs.
The device is constructed in protection class I as per EN 61558-1. It must only be operated with or connected
to 110 V/230 V alternating voltage networks with protective earthing.
Note
If the louvre board is used on the table, the louvre does not move down due to the low incline.
Please use this board only in the A4 frame.
