Do not, under any circumstance, use any attachment
or accessory on this product, which was not provided
with the product or identified as appropriate for use
with this product in the operator's manual.
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and
free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping
surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the
tool in unexpected situations.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-
facturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
pack may create a risk of fire when used with another
battery pack.
Use appliances only with specifically designated bat-
tery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a
risk of injury and fire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects, that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally oc-

Dress Properly – Use of rubber gloves and substantial
footwear is recommended when working outdoors. Wear
heavy, long pants, long sleeves, boots, and gloves. Do
not wear loose fitting clothing or jewelry or anything that
can be caught in moving parts. Secure long hair above
shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts.
Brush thrust is a reaction force that occurs when the
rotating brushes contact the cleaning surface. This
contact causes the sweeper to "thrust" itself toward the
operator as the brushes begin to turn. This reaction can
be violent enough to cause the operator to lose control
of the unit. Brush thrust can occur without warning, but
it is more likely to occur when the rotating brushes are
placed on the cleaning surface too quickly. To minimize

SERVICE
Have your appliance serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the appliance is maintained.
Never service damaged battery packs. Service of bat-
tery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer
or authorized service providers.

Store Idle Sweeper Indoors — When not in use, the
sweeper should be stored indoors in a dry, locked up
place — unplugged and out of the reach of children.
Never use sweeper near fires, fireplaces, hot ashes,
bar becue pits, etc. Use near fires or ashes can spread
fires and result in serious injury and/or property damage.
Never use sweeper to spread chemicals, fertilizers, or
any other toxic substances. Spreading these substances
could result in serious injury to the operator or bystanders.
Check the work area before each use. Remove all
objects such as rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, or string
which can be thrown or become entangled in the machine.
