SETUP (REFER TO PICTURE BELOW)
1. Remove frame, pail, and cover from carton.
2. With frame in the upright position, place pail and cover in frame from the back.
ADJUSTING COMMODE HEIGHT
1. Depress the height adjustment button and slide the lower leg upward or downward until the
height adjustment button clicks into place in the desired hole.
2. Repeat for the other three legs.
WARNING: Ensure all four commode legs are adjusted to the same height and all height
adjustment buttons protrude fully through adjustment holes before use.
INSERT THE BACK SUPPORT
1. Remove back support from carton.
2. Insert back support into channel guides until back support locking buttons click into place in
channel guide holes.
WARNING: Ensure that locking buttons protrude fully through holes before use.
USE COMMODE OVER TOILET
1. Set commode to desired height (described in previous steps).
2. Remove commode pail and lid.
3. Remove back support (described in previous steps).
4. Lift toilet bowl seat.
5. Place commode over toilet with opening positioned over the center of the toilet bowl.
Commode is now ready for use. Clean seat with disinfectant after each use.
USE AS BEDSIDE COMMODE
1. Set commode to desired height (described in previous steps).
2. Place commode pail on pail supports. Ensure that pail is properly positioned below commode
opening.
3. When user is finished using commode, place commode pail lid over commode pail to contain
odors.
4. Remove pail and lid simultaneously to empty pail. Clean seat and pail with disinfectant after
each use.
