Basic meringues, Level 5-6
Ingredients:
4 egg whites, 100g caster sugar, 100g of powdered sugar.
Preparation:
Put the egg whites in the bowl and mixer speed to 6 until they are firm
enough. Add half the sugar and whisk again until the mix is smooth and stiff
peaks are formed. Remove bowl and slightly embed the remaining sugar
with a metal spoon. Line a baking tray and pour the mix meringue using a
spoon or a pipe in ovals. Sprinkle remaining sugar and place on the bottom
shelf of a cold oven (120 ° C / 250 ° F / gas ½) for 1½ hours. Let cool on rack.
Garnish with soft fruit, chocolate and sweet cream.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Before cleaning, remove the power cord from the outlet.
• Never immerse the housing with the engine in the water!
• Do not use harsh or abrasive detergents.
