Connecting and Cabling
The LOGIC POE X has an INPUT port, a THRU port (data only), and an OUTPUT port (power and data) which require
CAT6 ethernet connections.

Between LOGIC DRIVE 2X and LOGIC POE X:
Short cables may use a smaller gauge, but any cable longer than 50 ft (15 m) must be 23 AWG and shielded, or the
products may not receive enough power.
Cable requirements: Max/Min gauge of 23/28 AWG CAT6 4 twisted pair.
• For distances less than 50 ft (15 m): 23-28 AWG (shielded or unshielded)
• For distances from 50-328 ft (15-100 m): 23 AWG (shielded)
OUTPUT Port
The OUTPUT port of the LOGIC POE X allows up to 75 ft (23 m) of total cabling between the LOGIC POE X and the final
LOGIC MR16 DN S in the chain. These cables can be 23-28 AWG (shielded or unshielded).
THRU Port
The THRU port of the LOGIC POE X only passes the control signal from the LOGIC DRIVE 2X, no power. A POE injector
must be used BEFORE the first LOGIC product in the chain to power it and further products connected to this port.
