1. If your model is not working, check the instructions to see if the model
is built correctly.
2. Motor not working?

Check to see if you have fresh batteries inserted with the correct polarity.

3. Are the K'NEX toggles and orange Cams installed exactly as shown?

4. Sound Module not working?
•
Make sure the button cell batteries are fresh.
•
Make sure the Ship is making a full revolution around the axle to activate the Sound Module.
•
Sound will be activated when the Ship makes a full circle revolution.
5. Pirate figures flying off?
•
Make sure all Pirate figures are fully snapped into the seats before turning on the motor.

•
Be sure to attach the suction cups to the bottom of the frame. (See page 26)

Pirate Ship Ride
model: Ride not making a complete revolution or
spins continuously?
A.
Turn motor off before making any adjustments.
B.
Make sure the batteries are fresh.
C.
Keep frame parallel. Spread the Connectors out to the end of the blue Rods and retest
your model. (See page 17 & 19)
D.
The motor may need to shift slightly one way or the other along the black Rods.
Add or remove 1 blue Spacer from each black Rod that passes through the motor. Slide the
motor towards the remaining Spacers and retest your model. Continue adding or removing
one Spacer at a time until the model swings back and forth and then loops. (See page 9)
E.
The motor may need to shift slightly one way or the other along the orange Rod. (See page 9)
Remove 1 Spacer and add it to the opposite end of the orange Rod and retest your model.
Continue moving Spacers to the opposite end of the orange Rod until the model swings
back and forth and then loops.
