Attention.
Before installing the unit, carefully
read the "WARNINGS FOR INSTAL-
LATION" contained in the package.
DC POWER SUPPLIER VAS/100.30
It consist of a card onto which there
are the rectifier and the stabilizer.
It is capable of supplying 1.7A at
17.5V DC and is protected against
overloading and short circuiting.
The VAS/100 can also be used as a
supplementary power supply whene-
ver the system requires it.
NOTE. When designing the installation
calculate the number of power sup-
pliers in relation to the total power con-
sumption of all devices in the system.

• Absorption: 0.6 A.
• Working temperature range: from 0
°C to +35 °C.
• Dimensions: 8 DIN units, low profi-
le module, figure 1.
The equipment can be installed
without terminal covers into boxes
provided with DIN rail (EN 50022).
Dimensions are shown in figure 2A.
Or it can be wall-mounted using the

DIN rail provided, applying as neces-
sary the terminal covers and plugs
provided.
Dimensions are shown in figure 2B.
NOTE. The unit is protected against
overloads and short-cicuits by a self-
resetting thermal switch, inserted on
the primary of the power supply tran-
sformer. Once the switch trips, opera-
tion is resumed automatically once the
temperature of the transformer drops
back below 85 °C. Make sure the cause
of the switch tripping is eliminated.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to com-
ply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to
Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to pro-
vide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation.
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency
energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruc-
tions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a par-
ticular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that
to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

PARA LA INSTALACION
Atención.
Antes de comenzar la instalación
del aparato, leer detenidamente
las "ADVERTENCIAS PARA LA
INSTALACIÓN" que se incluyene
en el embalaje.
FUENTE DE ALIMENTACION
VAS/100.30
El fuente de alimentacion está forma-
do por un transformador de 60VA y
por una tarjeta dotada de rectificador
y estabilizador. Es capaz de generar
de 1,7A a 17,5VDC y está protegido
contra sobrecargas y cortocircuitos.
El VAS/100 se puede utilizar como
fuente de alimentacion suplementa-
rio cuando las necesidades del equi-
po lo requieran.
NOTA. En la fase de projecto del equipo
se debe calcular el número de fuente de
alimentaciones en función de la absor-
ción de los aparatos instalados.
