Adjusting the throttle cable

Although the throttle cable's tolerance is set in-
factory, the user may adjust it.
To access the rod to adjust the throttle cable, remove

the saddle beforehand (Saddle sect.).
- Remove the fuel tank by removing the attachment
screws from the back part
- Loosen the intake sleeve collar
- Remove the back part.
- Disconnect the tank line at the tap.
- Tip the tank forward, then backward to remove it.
- Adjust the cable by removing the rubber
protection and screwing or unscrewing the
adjustment screw.
You may also use the screw on the gas line to adjust.
- Unscrew locknut

- Loosen or tighten the screw to adjust the slack.
- Tighten locknut
desired slack.
WARNING
After adjustment, start the engine and turn the handlebar both
directions to check that there is no acceleration due to cable tension.
The throttle cable should NEVER be under tension.
The accelerator grip should have a 2- or 3-mm free section.
