Defrosting operation
Frost can build up on the internal coils of the unit. When this happens, the dehumidifying
function will stop automatically, and the unit fan will continue to run until the frost
disappears. This takes only a few minutes, and once the internal coils are defrosted, the
dehumidifying operation will resume.
During the defrosting operation, the defrost indicator (J) will light up on the control
panel. Do not turn off the dehumidifier while the unit is defrosting.
Useful information / tips
• This dehumidifier is equipped with a security function that prevents users from turning
the compressor on and off too frequently. This function delays the dehumidifying
function until the unit has been on for 3 minutes.
• Whenever the dehumidifier is turned on, it uses the settings that were selected before
the last time it was turned off.
• In the event of a power outage while the dehumidifier is running and after the power
is restored, the dehumidifier will start again automatically, keeping all the settings
selected before the outage.
• All compressor dehumidifiers produce heat during the dehumidifying process. The
temperature of the air from the vent will depend on the room environment and the
compressor operation. It can fluctuate, and this is normal.
