ASSEMBLY & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE POWERBRUSH
When using the powerbrush, the basic precautions outlined under
"IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS" should always be followed.
1. Push the wand into the powerbrush socket until it locks in place. The wand socket
is designed with a positive stop. Therefore, the wand will not jam in the wand
socket. Insert hose end into the powerbrush wand on the assembled powerbrush
until is locks in place. (figure 3)
2. Make sure the hose handle powerbrush button is in the OFF position.
3. Insert the hose into the wall inlet valve (faceplate), and plug the cord into the
electrical outlet. (figure 4)
4. Lower the wand from the upright position using the Neck Release Pedal
on the powerbrush.
5. To turn the central vacuum power unit ON, push the +/- slide control button
forward on the hose handle. To turn the central vacuum OFF, slide the control
button toward you to the off position.
6. Variable speed slide control allows you to vary the suction power. Press (+/-)
slide control button and slide forward from the off position. You will have
several positions to adjust the suction level
7. To turn the powerbrush ON or OFF, press or depress the powerbrush button symbol
8. Disconnect the handle from the wand by pushing the button on the wand that is closest to the
handle, and pulling the handle out of the wand socket.
9. To release the wand from the powerbrush press the Wand Quick Release foot pedal and
then pull the wand out of the powerbrush neck
Helpful Hint: To prevent possible damage to the Powerbrush, do not pick up hard or sharp objects.
Articles of clothing, towels, loose carpet edges, etc., should also be avoided. If an article does become
entangled in the brush roller, switch off the Powerbrush. Disconnect the hose cord from electrical outlet
and the hose from the faceplate and then remove the object carefully without using excessive force.
WARNING: Always switch off the Powerbrush and disconnect plug from wall electrical outlet and
disconnect hose before servicing the Powerbrush.
1. The Powerbrush can be wiped with a cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent.
2. Do not use abrasive substances or any solvents.
3. Do not immerse in water or allow water to enter the Powerbrush.
